The colorful steampunk vibe is emanating from the short video, as is a level of charm that the series has been known for. One of the bots appears to be victorious, but there is a twist at the end of the video. The simple but intriguing teaser trailer pits two Steambots against one another, facing off in what appears to be an old fashioned western-style fast draw duel. There have been platform Metroidvanias, a turn-based tactics game, a deck-building RPG, and more. The gameplay and genre of each title have varied drastically, however. Thus far, the SteamWorld games have all fallen under a similar aesthetic. SteamWorld Headhunter may be the most ambitious game in the franchise yet. After sharing that a new SteamWorld game was in the works last year, publisher Thunderful Games has just released a new teaser trailer for the latest entry into the series: SteamWorld Headhunter.
